The item is a universal bidirectional RS-232 interface fiber optic extender. It is best choice for connecting a remote terminal unit (RTU) to a host (HOST) or a distributed data acquisition system (SCADA) controller. The product uses optical fiber as the transmission medium, improve the transmission performance of the system, effectively avoid the harsh environment of lightning, surge and electromagnetic interference on the threat of communications equipment.
